Akito Yashusa is an antagonist in Dissidia Calamitas Infinita, representing Clouds of Judgement. A native of Yotsugana, Akito was born into the powerful Yashusa family, who were known as legendary godslayers. However, he was also born with a muscular disease that bound him to a wheelchair at a young age. The younger brother of Naraku, the leader of the Black Mist Society, Akito was forced to sit and watch as the Black Mist campaigned to bring about a revolution to overthrow The Order. However, the sudden disappearance of Naraku led to a massive power struggle and in-fighting, which led to the collapse of the Black Mist. With The Order free to rule over humanity, Akito gathered the remnants of Black Mist and with the blessing of the divine ones, his malady was cleared. He now leads the newly formed Zodiac Society to finally end the war with The Order.

Having been summoned by Eris, Akito takes more of an interest with the gods that rule over this domain than participating in the conflict himself. He travels and investigates mostly alone, seeing if he cannot stop the conflict by dealing directly with the source.

Appearance[]

Akito's default costume, Divinity, consists of a regal dark red formal coat with gold trim, with white slacks, gloves and dress shoes. He has dark blue hair spiked and angled back and piercing yellow eyes. His first alternate costume, Traditionalist, consists of a sarashi with a navy blue hakama and geta.

As a Wheel of the Zodiac, Akito's deadliness lies in his diversity. Using powers granted to him by the twelve great beasts, Akito is able to use and wield twelve distinct elements, but only one at a time. This power is wielded through his falchion. His Brave attacks feature mostly moves that can dominate the landscape of the battlefield to his advantage. He can also summon one of these beasts for an attack, which constitutes his HP moves. Overall, his magic is very high, his attack is high, his defense and HP are average, and his movement speed is slow.

Akito's EX Mode is Rising Sun. During his EX Mode, Ozora in her Spirit Transformation mode is summoned to fight alongside him. She helps mitigate some damage and gives Akito access to the EX-Mode exclusive spell Zodiac Flame.
